Solution
Let, the age of Usha be = 3a
Then Nisha’s age is = a and
Given Asha’s age is = 25
Also when Usha’s age is = 34
Then let Nisha’s and Asha’s age be b and...
Let, the age of Usha be = 3a
Then Nisha’s age is = a and
Given Asha’s age is = 25
Also when Usha’s age is = 34
Then let Nisha’s and Asha’s age be b and 2b respectively.
We know that 3a – 34 = a – 2b = 25 – 2b
Solving above three equations we get a = 9, b = 16
Their ages are 34, 16, 32
Sum of their ages = 34 + 16 + 32 =82
So after 18 years their ages will be = 100
So Usha’s age is = 34 + 6 = 40 years
