Let, the weekly income of 1st and 2nd person be 7k and 3k respectively.
Let, the weekly expenses of 1st and 2nd person be 5m and 2m respectively.
Given,
7k − 5m = 300 ——(1)
3k − 2m = 300 ——(2)
(Eq (2) × 5) − (Eq (1) × 2) we get
k = 900
Therefore, income of the 1st person = 7k = 7(900)
= Rs.6300
