= 35% of 2000 = 0.35 × 2000 = 700

Total number of students who have enrolled for course SQL from college S is

= 16% of 1800 =0.16 × 1800 = 288

Total number of students who have enrolled for course C++ and SQL together from college S is

= 700 + 288 = 988

Total number of students who have enrolled for course C++ and SQL together from college R is

= (19% of 2000) + (28% of 1800)

= (0.19 × 2000) + (0.28 × 1800)
