Let the total number of 5 paisa stamps = N
Then the number of 25 paisa stamps = N
Number of 10 paisa stamps = 2N
Let, the minimum number of 1 paisa stamps possible = M
Then,
5N + 25N + 10(2N) + M = 265
50N + M = 265
When 265 is divided by 50 the remainder obtained is 15.
Hence the minimum number of 1 paisa stamps possible = 15
